The concrete, a mixture of cement, aggregates (sand and gravel), and water, is then poured into the forms. It is spread and leveled using screeds and floats to achieve a smooth and even surface. The concrete is then finished according to the desired texture, which can range from a smooth, troweled finish to a textured, broom finish for slip resistance.
Finally, the concrete is allowed to cure, a process that can take several days or weeks, during which it gains strength and hardness. This is often done by keeping the concrete moist, which prevents it from drying out too quickly and cracking. Once cured, the forms are removed, and the concrete is ready for use.
